Bi Process

So here we have a bit of an insight into my working process. Unfortunately I don't have scans of the very early stages but there you go. Still slightly interesting though? Maybe?

All right so that was an enormously long break there. Sorry about that. I will try to make it up to you with some bits of work I made over these past six months.

First up is this gouache painting I made for the 'Bi' exhibition that was held a while back. The brief was to make an image in pink and green with the theme of 'bi'. My piece is about the conflict that can occur between what we are doing and what we are thinking/feeling. I'm not entirely sure how well that came across although the ambiguity is to a certain extent intentional.

James Pond Vs the Invaders from Space

Two video game themed drawings today! I thought I would put two up at once because they aren't very spectacular. James Pond is just classic but this drawing is terribly bland. I may well post something else later if I can find the time.

I was/am tempted to add colour to this but it hardly seems worth it for just a throwaway cartoon (albeit one that I am rather fond of).
